It is alway’s a pleasure to play at Royal Montreal on invitation from Pierre and Elizabeth Brunet and I look forward to doing so again in 2007 before the event starts. Shortly, their son John will accompany my daughter Evelyn to Kenya and tackle some of the Kenyan courses at the coast which are in magnificent condition due to unseasonal rains.

My sons and I have tickets to the entire Presidents Cup week. I am a member of the Elkins Lake Golf Club in Huntsville, Texas. I am trying to get info on accomodations ( hotels, motels, etc. ) for the week. What sources can I go to on the internet to explore further as to rooms available within a short driving distance from the course ? Thanks, Frank O’Donnell

Thanks for your comment.
Glad you and your sons are coming to Montreal in September for the Presidents Cup.
Try the Holiday Inn in Pointe Claire. Also, most of the major US hotel chains have hotels in the West Island of Montreal which is near the tournament and the airport.

I have a 2 bedroom (sleeps 2 to 4) condo available for lease for the tournament located 6 minutes from Royal Montreal Golf course. Pending reference verification, I would be willing to acomodate VIP players or spectators for the Championship Event.
